NHL 10/29/2010`

Montreal @ New York Islanders
The Canadians outscored the Isles on Wed. night even while the Isles scored 2 on the PP. New York has scored power play goals in all but one game so far this season and they are scoring at a 28% rate on the PP. Montreal has scored just 2 PP goals in 32 chances so far this season. While Price has been hot this season the offense in front of him has been lacking and the Habs depends on solid play defensively in order to win games. NY has allowed 1 PK goal in the last 19 chances and have proven to be a more disciplined team than years past. The home crowd should be enough to give them the edge in this revenge match from two nights ago. There are multiple trends pointing to both sides but the Isles at home jumped out at me.
• Islanders are 5-0 in their last 5 when their opponent scores 5 goals or more in their previous game.
• Islanders are 7-2 in their last 9 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600.
• Islanders are 8-3 in their last 11 home games.
